| We are blessed every single day in so many different ways. Most of the time these blessings go unnoticed. However, when we do remember to thank the Giver for those blessings, we sometimes forget to thank the Giver for......His very self. Not only does He pour His blessings over us, but also He gives of Himself always. Not only on some days or when we really need Him....but every single second throughout our days. How assuring it is to know that I don't even have to call on Him because He is already there at my side. I have really learned this during my first semester here in college. I used to pray "Jesus, help this hard time in my life to pass away quickly," or "God, thanks for helping me do good on my test." Now, my prayers go something like this, "Walk with me to class Jesus." "God, I'm scared......hold my hand in Yours." "Thank you Lord for this difficult week because it has brought me closer to you." I have turned my focus on the Blesser rather than on the blessings. Now, I'm not saying that we are not to be thankful for the endless blessings He bestows upon on us. What I am saying is that no matter what I go through in life...whether it be storms or sunny days...no matter what I gain or lose...whether it be material things, friends, or even my beloved family...the only thing I need in my life is Jesus at my side. He is what I am thankful for. |

| I just wanted to do this for the heck of it. Um...sooo...yea...shout outs to Jess and the fam.  I am soooo excited for Thanksgiving...one week and three days. Yay! |
